What is the cost of the 40 Hour Training

Accepted Answer

The 40 Hour Domestic Violence Training is $250 per person.  An invoice will be sent once a participant is accepted in the program.

What happens if I can't attend the entire training?

Attendance is required for all 40 hours to complete the training and receive your certificate.  If make-up sessions are needed, they will not be offered until the next scheduled training session.

How do I become certified?

Our 40-Hour training fulfills the Illinois Domestic Violence Act (IDVA) 40-hour domestic violence training requirement. Completing 40 hours of domestic violence training is the first step toward becoming an Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional (ICDVP). The Violence Prevention Center is an ICDVP-approved training and supervision site. Who is conducting the training?

Training is conducted by ICDVP certified staff members. Our trainers all have years of experience as service providers.  They offer in-depth knowledge combined with first-hand experience to make this training dynamic and practical when working with survivors.
