40- Hour Domestic Violence Training

Deepen your understanding and abilities to work with survivors.

The Violence Prevention Center is an approved ICDVP training site for the 40-hour domestic violence training.  Completing this training is a crucial first step toward becoming an Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional.   Domestic violence professionals facilitate this training and cover a variety of topics designed to offer a deeper understanding of the dynamics of partner violence and how to connect survivors with life-saving services.

  • Legal Issues Survivors Face

  • Safety Assessment & Planning
